7300 Router / PXF issue

HI all,

Topology looks kind of "CE1-PE-CE2"

There are two types of connectios between PE and CE: ADSL and MetroEthernet.

We have the VoIP VPN (a full mesh VPN). For ADSL sites we configure static routes in the PE (which are distributed in the Core via MP-BGP). For MetroEthernet sites we use EBGP between these sites and the PE.

When any person add an existing static route (human mistake) pointing to a wrong gateway (I mean, another CE, not the right one)

Here is an example:

This one already exists.

ip route vrf VPN_VoIP 10.9.3.24 255.255.255.248 10.9.230.146

This is the new one.

ip route vrf VPN_VoIP 10.9.3.24 255.255.255.248 10.9.230.147

a Crash is created in the bootdisk and Route Processors reload by themselves.

If we disable de PXF (no ip pxf) nothing happens... I mean, we force the situation and router don't behave weired...

MetroEthernet links don't trigger a situation like that.

Any idea?

Thx in advance.

cheers,
