I am having to upgrade supervisors on a core 7609 in our network. I wanted to see if anyone knows if there is a way to do this somewhat inservice to minimize downtime or if this is just a full drop upgrade. We currently have Sup7203BXLs and are upgrading to RSP7203CXLs. When I tried to upgrade the standby incrementally, it threw an error for a mismatch and just dropped the standby to rommon. If anyone knows some other way besides just swapping both supervisors out and loading the old config, that would be helpful.
