800 Series Soho boot problem

I was following the instructions for upgradeing the CRWS:- 'Cisco Router Web Setup User Guide'.

I successfully loaded all the files into the flash and rebooted.

I now get an error:-

boot: cannot determine first file name on device "flash"

rommon 25 > dir flash:

File size Checksum File name

4895 bytes (0x131f) 0x71f7 home.html

47026 bytes (0xb7b2) 0x1b3f GUI.html

8082 bytes (0x1f92) 0x97c6 loading.gif

941455 bytes (0xe5d8f) 0xc85c crws_1.jar

278042 bytes (0x43e1a) 0x8546 crws_2.jar

792 bytes (0x318) 0x3a29 configexp.cfg

I guess I have lost the original boot file when the flash was wipped as instructed but I do not have a copy of this file.

Can someone help?

Thanks

Hawkmoth

Re: 800 Series Soho boot problem

hi

You need to get the ios file to get the router back to shape..

you can get the ios code downloaded from the CCO site if you have the smartnet contract in place..
