8080 port block

Dear all,

How can we see in the router whether 8080 port is block or not because we could not able to see it...

Also could you please tell me that is there any way to block 8080 in Cisco BBSM server...if yes where and how...

Your true assistance will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Azmath Khan.

Re: 8080 port block

if you need to verify what the router may be blocking, log into it and check for any ACLs.

ACLs will block this traffic. if no ACLs then all IP ports are open on all interfaces that are not shutdown and that run IP.

since BBSM is basically a web server, i'm not familiar with any feature that blocks ports. see if you can put a firewall in front of it. this is what we have.
