I am trying to help a friend with his config on his 871. He gets his static ip from his isp by his mac-address on int f/4. he is not able to get to the internet with his config. Can anyone point us in the right direction to route his traffice out. Thanks!
it is pullling its static from the isp and I am able to do an extended ping between interfaces. I can ping from wan to lan and lan to wan. but he says he cannot surf. I am working with him remotely.
will do, I will have him try that. I am going to try and talk him into letting me get
remote access to it tonight. when he gets home! Thanks again!
