871 router will not pass Telnet

Using VPN on DSL, with GRE tunnels, I find on 1/2 of the routers I cannot telnet through the router - even with the same config. It stops cold, while others pass telnet fine. What's the answer folks?? Jeff

Can you revert on the below points ..

1) To and from which ip you are trying to telnet ?

2) Are you trying to telnet from the local lan or from outside ?

3) Also the network topology you have in place at present ..
