877 web page problem

Hi Guys,

Hope someone can help me here. I have a cisco 877 that is really not behaving as it should. I am problems accessing some websites, Microsofts in paticular. and Hotmail via outlook express.

I had set MTU settings on it the same as i had for the 837 which was

Int e0

ip tcp adjust-mss 1452

int dialer0

ip mtu 1492

These settings do not have the desired effected to the 877

Any ideas. I am working in Ireland on Eircoms ADSL network.

Hi Stephen, do you have the firewall configured?

If so, try temporarily disabling it and see if the symptoms clear up.

If they do you likely need a java-list for the http inspection rule.

ip insp name myfw http java-list 10

.

access-list 10 permit any

Be as tight or as loose as you need to be with the access-list.
