888 Router, Universal image en BGP support

Hello,

we have a customer with a 888 SDSL router at one of the branches. The router initially ran 15.1(4)M5 with only the basic license (adv. security) but that version lacks BGP support which is needed for the private VPN of the customer. After some research in the Cisco Feature Navigator we concluded that 15.3(3)M2 has support for BGP in the UNIVERSAL image but after loading this IOS there are still no BGP commands available.

Is this a problem in this router or are we using the navigator in a wrong way ?

Hello, If you search the platform specific, the C888EA seems to have it in the universal image only without the DATA feature set/license. All C888EG models require this.
