A Mac, an 857w & an 877. Anyone dunnit?

I can ping the 877 from the 857w but I can't do much more: I cannot mount a remote drive for example.

Or rather, I can for a week or two or even three, then it falls over & requires a repower at one or both ends.

Yet, 877 at different site to the above 877 has no such issues.

At first purchase, it was found the unit was not OSX compatible and I wonder if this could be a residual issue to whatever solution was arrived at then?
