Hi Timothy,
Can you share ether-channel and member port config please.
Also, I assume for ether-channel is L2 right ???
I suspected, hard coding the port to trunk instead of auto negotiation should solve the problem.
However, still needs to see the config before suggesting something concrete.
HTH,

Interfaces Gig 1/1 to 8 is configured with "switchport trunk desirable" while the Portchannel interface 401 and 402 is configured as "switchport mode trunk".
Here's how you fix this one up:
1. no interface po 401;
2. no interface po 402;
3. interface range g 1/1 - 4
4. switchport mode trunk
5. channel-group 401 mode on
5. interface range g 1/5 - 8
6. switchport mode trunk
7. channel-group 402 mode on

Similar to Leo's reply, but I couldn't remove the Port-Channels when I had the issue. Probably code-dependent interaction with Auto-LAG. I solved this issue by removing and re-applying the VLANs: no wism module slot controller <1/2> allowed-vlan xx,yy,zz wism module slot controller <1/2> allowed-vlan xx,yy,zz
