AAA

I've come across a strange scenerio that when I configured AAA on my 1750router, it seemed to work fine, then I issued "no aaa new-model" and it removed all of the aaa configs and I did "wr mem" after that. Then, I issued "reload" and re-enabled 'aaa new-model" again and all of the aaa configs came back automatically...Silly question to ask..but, does anyone know where the "AAA" configuration is actually stored in the router?

TIA,

Hieu

When you do a wr mem the current running config is copied to NVRAM. Upon reset the router will load the startup config in NVRAM. You are probably loading a config being specified by the boot host command to look for another config file somewhere else. Can you place a copy of the config online??
