Access control list to control route access

My company just purchased a small company with an existing network, and am in the process of configuring routers for their eventual connection to our network. They are using a public IP segment which they do not own that must be supported for a short time while they migrate to our private IP scheme. I need to implement an ACL that will not allow this public route to enter our Autonomous system. Honestly, while I have created my share of what I consider basic ACLs, I am having difficulty "seeing" how this ACL will look like. Any suggestions? Thanks, Dan

You need to provide some data to support the question.

What routing protocols are you using,

Is the internet involved,

What does "seeing" mean.

Can their environment be summarised to a single prefix.

You want to NOT have this route in your network?

peter

routing protocols are ip and ipx

Yes, the Internet is involved

"seeing" as I'm having difficulty envisioning what the ACL will look like.

I believe it can be summarised to a single prefix

Yes, definitely do not want this route in my network.

Here's a question: A colleague suggested that I NAT their public IP to our private IP scheme. Would that work?
