I would like to logging the ACL on Cisco 2960G switch. I created an extended ACL and I added the next line from the aim of testing (deny ip any any log). It is good working but it doesn't logging.

I configured 'logging on ; logging buffer etc...'.

Is it possible the ACL logging in switch or not?

If it isn't possible, then How can i logging incoming package information in switch.?

Data sheet:

IOS version 12.2(25)SEE2

Cisco Catalyst 2960G

Thank you for the help to everybody.

Hello.

Please see this link:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/lan/catalyst2960/software/release/12.2_25_see/configuration/guide/swacl.html#wp1031180

It does not support ACL logging.

I think your best bet would be to mirror traffic to a sniffer and your sniffer can keep track of incoming traffic.
