ACL

Hi

I have pix firewall where map address 192.168.10.5. this ip 192.168.10.X is route in ISP becuse my another office are connect through isp. now isp people can ping ping this ip becuse this network address is route in ISP.

now i want assign ACL in my router to protect other range ip.

so i assign acl

access-list 101 permit ip 192.168.100.X

access-list 101 deny all

it is ok ?

Hi,

Do you want to allow only intranet traffic between your offices ? If yes, following is the correct syntex :

access-list 101 permit ip 192.168.100.0 0.0.0.255 192.168.10.0 0.0.0.255

access-list 101 deny ip any any

Above ACL can be applied on WAN interfaces at both ends, you have to take care of LAN segments.
