i have an existing Qos policy for our voip system at work and now i need to add Solomon. our users use rdp (3389) to access Solomon from remote locations via 3 T-1's so i added this to the destination office:

class-map match-any Solomon

match access-group 102

Extended IP access list 102

10 permit tcp any any eq 3389

20 permit tcp any eq 3389 any established (58805 matches)

existing policy at destination office -

policy-map Avon/Edwards

class voice-traffic

priority percent 45

class voice-signaling

bandwidth percent 1

class Solomon

bandwidth percent 10

class class-default

fair-queue

random-detect

part of class map -

class-map match-any Solomon

match access-group 102

and this to the remote office:

sh access-lists 102

Extended IP access list 102

10 permit tcp any any eq 3389 (45803 matches)

20 permit tcp any eq 3389 any established (1947 matches)

existing policy at remote/source office.

policy-map Avon/Edwards

class voice-traffic

priority percent 45

class voice-signaling

bandwidth percent 1

class Solomon

bandwidth percent 10

class class-default

fair-queue

random-detect

and part of class map-

class-map match-any Solomon

match access-group 102

do you think a good idea or bad?

thanks - Jerry!!!
