Hi, Everybody!
AIM Modules use IP Payload compression protocol ( rfc 2393 ), but I cannot find
Which compression algorithms can be used with AIM Modules for 1841?
How helpfull could it be while using 2 Mbps WAN connection?
Thank you!

You can do DES, 3DES, or AES. The new ISRs (1800/2800/3800) come with onboard crypto engines. You most likely won't need an AIM for only 2 mbps on an 1841.
What other features will you be running? NBAR, QoS, PBR, NAT, IOS FW? They can all add to overall CPU utilization and will define if you want to get the AIM.

Generaly I am interesting in compression, not encryption.
