AL led on 2800

Hi All,

Quick question about the vwic2-2mft-t1/e1 cards in 2800 series routers.

Is it normal for the AL led to be yellow when its not plugged in? I do not have a working circuit yet, just doing the configs and this is the case with all of them. Does it stay this way until it is plugged in? if not, how do i find out what it is not happy about?

Yes that is the "normal state" of the alarm led when there is no circuit pluged into the port. If the interface has issues after the T1 is pluged in( connection to the smartjack) it will show red. no alarm light is good after the t1 is installed and properly configured.
