An FRF.16.1 P router trunk that supports MPLS label imposition

Hi there,

Does anyone know if an FRF.16.1 P router (Label Switch Router) trunk can be configured to carry MPLS labels used in the forwarding plane? I've searched high and low on the web for information, including the MPLS/Frame Relay Forum, and have found nothing. I'm not even sure if this has been formalised into any standard yet.

kind regards

Rich

MPLS is supported on FRF.16 trunk. The MPLS LSC supports highly scalable integration of MPLS (IP+ATM) services by using a direct peer relationship between the Cisco IGX 8400 switch and MPLS routers.Refer URL
