Hi
Does anyone know what is the business problem AON solves? Where is it needed?
Thanks -

AON provides a set of intelligent capabilities embedded in the customers existing network to allow business applications to collaborate more effectively and securely.
For enterprises whose applications have proliferated in a siloed and fragmented way, AON provides services to bridge disparities in formats, protocols and other infrastructure components, while at the same time offering an order of magnitude improvement in performance over conventional methods.
The specific business problem that AON solves is the lack of interoperability between application and middleware communications
Customers see immediate benefit from lower cost, higher performance and more importantly a comprehensive new way to implement and enforce application infrastructure policy within the network.
For example, customers adopting Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) based upon Web Services standards will benefit greatly from deploying AON.

Hello,
There was an ATE on AON a while ago. Reading through the thread may shed a lot of light on AOn.
