AS 5400

Hi..

Can an AS5400 with 16E1 be also used as a conventional router along with routine RAS..??

Hello Deepak,

AS5400 can obviously be used as a conventional router. You can configure the linecards on the 5400 for sync serial, ISDN/CAS , E1R2 etc etc. AS 5400 supports all popular routing protocols like OSPF, EIGRP, BGP etc. For other additional routing features, you need to check the release notes of the IOS running on the AS5400.
