Re: ASDM IOS upgrade in ASA

Thanks for replying. The problem is, we have configured Multi-Context on this & we are not using any IP on System Context where Disk0 is activated.

How can I transfer the image from Console? Can I use Xmodem ?

Hi,

As you are upgarding the existing ASDM version which is running in firewall so what i would suggest login into firewall via ASDM and then browse for new ios image in your local pc and upload, check out the below link hope that help

Once you have downloaded this software, upload it to the PIX Security Appliance using the same method you would use to upgrade the IOS® on the router (TFTP, XModem, and so forth). Once the ASDM software is located in Flash memory on the PIX Security Appliance, use the global configuration command asdm image flash:/ where is the filename of the ASDM software

Hope to Help
