I am having a problem with a Brand New ASR 1001 that does not have a License. I have put a basic config on the router, but it will not communicate via Layer 3 with its neighbor. As a test, I put the exact config on a 1811 router and it did communicate with the neighbor. The ASR router shows that it has an IPBase license, but will not pass any traffic. I have downloaded a Demo License from Cisco, but need a way to get the license to the ASR (tftp) in order to get the router online. Any suggestions? BTW, once we conduct our test we will determine what License to purchase.
