Hi!
Is it possible in Cisco 800 Series ADSL Router to create vlan interface 2 and attach vlan1 to the first physical Ethernet port and vlan2 to the 2nd physical port and then use them as WAN and LAN Interfaces?
Thanks.

Hi, yes can you can assign a vlan to a layer 2 switchport by using the switchport access vlan command.
For example if you wanted to assign vlan 2 to your eth1 physical interface you would use the below config:
configure terminal
int fa1
switchport access vlan 2
end
As for using that interface as a WAN, I'm also trying to do at the moment, so hopefully someone else is able to help.

It depends on your exact model of your 800-series router.
Some models, like the 850, will only support ONE VLAN.
