I am looking for a solution to connect three branch offices to central office.
Requirement is to utilize existing DSL service based on RFC 1483 routing with AAL5SNAP encapsulation.
I have the following in mind:
- CO: use existing 2651 with WIC-1SHDSL-V3 (max 4.6 Mb) ATM multipoint interface
- branch office: use existing 2651 with WIC-1SHDSL (max 2.3 Mb) ATM point-to-multipoint sub-interfaces
Is it possible to use point-to-mulipoint connections in an ATM network running through Cisco (compatible) DSLAMs?
Customer now uses separate WIC for each (ATM point-to-point) PVC. With only two WIC slots available in 2600 chassis they're running into a scalability constraint.
Any help would be appreciated.
