ATM interface counting CRCs

All,

I've my ATM interface counting errors.

I replaced the MM fiber cable, the interface and even the VXR slot, but it still count input errors and CRCs:

ATM1/0 is up, line protocol is up

Hardware is ENHANCED ATM PA

MTU 4470 bytes, sub MTU 4470, BW 149760 Kbit, DLY 80 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 16/255, rxload 17/255

Encapsulation ATM, loopback not set

Encapsulation(s): AAL5

4095 maximum active VCs, 521 current VCCs

VC idle disconnect time: 300 seconds

0 carrier transitions

Last input 00:00:00, output 00:00:00, output hang never

Last clearing of "show interface" counters 01:14:43

Input queue: 0/75/1/0 (size/max/drops/flushes); Total output drops: 0

Queueing strategy: Per VC Queueing

30 second input rate 10109000 bits/sec, 2602 packets/sec

30 second output rate 9567000 bits/sec, 2608 packets/sec

Re: ATM interface counting CRCs

Thanks very very much for your respond.

I found something in the PDFs that makes sence in my case: --> my router aggregates customers (subinterfaces) --> i think that this might made a buffer problem resulting in CRCs.

What's your comment ?
