ATM Interface is deleted.

Hi,

Sorry to ask this basic quiestion.Kindly help me in understaning the below output.

ATM1/0.70 is deleted, line protocol is down        ============ATM is Deleted  ????
  Hardware is ENHANCED ATM PA
  MTU 4470 bytes, BW 149760 Kbit, DLY 80 usec,
     reliability 255/255, txload 5/255, rxload 1/255

Hello Lijesh,

it means that logical subinterface ATM1/0.70 has been removed with

conf t

no int atm1/0.70.

Actually, until next reload the IDB object for this subinterface will still exist.

if you issue

int atm1/0.70

the object is reinserted in the list of active interfaces with its previous configuration
