automated show commands

hi all,

I am doing daily health check on my network and it consists of about 200 devices (routers&Switches).I am checking the connectivity of all the devices and show commands for each box like show process cpu ,show memory summary and so on .Is there any automated process to check the connectivity like TCL and for the show commands too

Re: automated show commands

What you described can be easily done with NMIS. That's what NMIS is designed to do.

Expect scripts can easily do what you described.

Re: automated show commands

Hi

Maybe you should look at nagios (www.nagios.org). You can intergrate perl scripts or cgi's into it to get what every info you need with thresholds to alarm against and it's free.
