back the switch to the default configuration

Hi All

how can i back the switch to the default configuration.this is maean erase the startup-config or what.also i need information about the pvst+

To restore an IOS-based router/switch to factory default, issue the command 'write erase' and then reload the box - answer 'no' if it asks you to save the configuration.

By default cisco switches run PVST+

In addition to Paresh post to answer your second question all the cisco switches by default run PVST+ mode.
