Backup Interface + track?

Hi,

We have setup failover for WAN connections via the backup interface command(Eth->ATM(Dialer)) - This requires the eth interface to be physically down before the ATM/Dialer is bought up.

Is there a way to use object tracking in conjunction with the backup interface command?(As the Ethernet Int "rarely" physically goes down, but can lose ip connectivity)

Reason for not using object tracking/verify-availability only: Service has an additional subnet routed to it, advertised via OSPF on Eth Int, and dynamically routed via radius once the dialer int comes up.

Thanks in advance.

How about dialer-watch? You can configure to monitor routing table entry, once it disappears, it will bring Dialer interface up.
