Re: Backup ISDN line is not firing

Hi Talha ,

The debug output is showing that destination is out of order.Check whether the configured destination number is working or not.

If possible paste the local and remote router configurations.

The following link helps you a lot in troubleshooting the problem.

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps5187/products_command_reference_chapter09186a008017cfa4.html

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/sw/iosswrel/ps1818/products_command_reference_chapter09186a008007ff75.html

Thanks,

satish

Re: Backup ISDN line is not firing

Looking at the logs, you capture this from the router that initiates the call right?

Look at you error cause and refer to this link http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk801/tk379/technologies_tech_note09186a008012e95f.shtml

The first error cause is 00:06:54: Cause i = 0x829B - Destination out of order

The second error cause is 00:06:54: Cause i = 0x809B - Destination out of order
