Bandwidth consumption for specific IP

Hi Guys

how can i verify a particular ip address how much bandwidth he consumes(download for the internet) in order to police this traffic

you can do this with different features:

-ip accounting

-NBAR protocol-discovery

-Netflow

-MQC

where to configure this? at the Internet router ? or in the core switches where the users are connected?

which is the best of the methode mentioed above?

Don't check for it.

write an ACL matching that ip address and police it according your needs. under the class definition you will match that ACL rather than some marks or signals.
