Bandwidth support

Hi,

Which router supports 60 MB of Metro Ethernet Link. Please suggest.

You should be looking for a router that can reliably perform this task; that is without being loaded too heavy with just the forwarding. I would be quite satisfied with a 2821 or a 2851 for this task. If you have more to spend you can also go for the 3800 series.

If the Traffic pattern is Huge and Routing Table size need to handled in more means:

I would recommend 3800 Series Routers.

Thanks for the reply.

following are details

1. Using 3825 Cisco Router.

2. 60 MB Pipe from Reliance.

3. FTP Data Transfer From Delhi - Bombay.

4. Utilisation above 60% 24 hrs.

5. delhi end - 3825 Gigabit Terminating Interface

6. Mumbai End - 7507 FastEthernet Terminating Interface.

As the utilisation is high on WAN, please do let me know that router which you suggest will handle this much of capacity will support.
