Bandwidth Usage

Hi I have a Cisco 7200 and I would see the bandwidth usage of every ATM VC connect to it. What's the way /command to do this? Thanks a lot.

Try show channels.

Re: Bandwidth Usage

There isn't the command SHOW CHANNEL on my router, For me it's important also to see the bandwidth usage of every interface (Gigaethernet, FastEthernet, Serial, ecc ecc)

Re: Bandwidth Usage

I'm not sure if this is possible.

You could try this (Depending on IOS) but

unfortunately it doesn't include the interface name.

Router#sh int | i load

reliability 255/255, txload 58/255, rxload 17/255

reliability 255/255, txload 46/255, rxload 21/255

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

reliability 255/255, txload 4/255, rxload 6/255

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255

reliability 255/255, txload 66/255, rxload 16/255

Re: Bandwidth Usage

If I do "sh int atm1/0.16" appears:

MTU 4470 bytes, BW 33920 Kbit, DLY 200 usec,

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 4/255

What means this?

reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 4/255

Re: Bandwidth Usage

Hi,

Reliability is link integrity. 255/255

the transmit (tx) and receive (rx) are calculated as a value of 255.

So for example tx @ 127/255 would be roughly

50% load on the interface.

So tx 250/255 would mean it's operating at close to full load.

The higher to 255 the more load on the link in that particular direction.

Usually the load interval is calculated over a

5 minute period (or 300 seconds). This can be adjusted in interface configuration mode but is best left at this value. Unless you wish to lower it to have a more real time view of load

on the interface.
