Hi,
You can use the 'show interface' to command to see what input/output rate you are currently getting on the link.
In addition, you can use the 'sh dsl int atm

Hi,
What you need to do is to use a piece of testing software that will try to max out the line to see what is possible on it. One such software which I use frequently is Iperf. Here's a link to it:

Hi
U can test u r Isp bandwith speed.Take a example for 64k link.It will be in bit rate in your serial inteface ( 64000 ).You need to divide by 8 ( to convert bit to byte ) . So you will get 8k as a downloading speed in 64k link.
Thanks

But what do these prepackaged internet bandwidth speed tests actually show ?
They only show one computer's speed, to a specific destination, at a specific time, which could be influenced by more things than the line capacity.
Are they overrated, and misinterpreted ?
I have talked to several people who think because they pay for 1.5Mbps service, that they should get 1.5Mbps speed on the "bandwidth speed tests"
Is this accurate ?
Who knows anything about these tests ?
