For reverse telnet (Termianal Server), you need Async ports, the AUX port can act as one, but i think you have more than one device to access via reverse telnet (a Cisco router have a max of 1 AUX port), accordingly you'll have to buy Async serial interfaces for the router with as many interfaces as you require.
As for the roll cable used for this operation, its a cable having its ends totally reversed (1->8 / 8->1) as if reversing the whole RJ at one of the ends.
This is actually a pretty cool feature, i didn't even know it existed until I was looking for a solution to advertise a subnet (prefix in BGP talk), only if a certain condition existed. This is exactly what conditional advertisements does
