BFD session logging

Using 3925 routers running 15.0(1)M9 have run into the problem of BFD not working due to PE no longer recognizing the BFD packets.  BFD is tied to BGP.  When the BFD session went down, it did cause BGP to drop as well.  The problem comes in where, since there is no actual issue on the circuit, BGP comes back up while BFD remains down.  Have not found a way for BFD to log neighbor changes.  Is this possible?  The only other option thrown out is to open a ticket on every single BGP bounce no matter how long to manually verify that BFD is back up as well.  Would prefer to have syslog show both a BFD neighbor state change of down and up without having to rely on BGP logging.
