BGP default originate

Hi,

This question is about a multiple site, ISP managed, BGP network where the CE routers are not managed by the provider.

At the head end site, a BGP default originate command is used on the CE router to have all other CE routers/sites send their Internet traffic to the head end. Now this company is expanding and wants to route Internet traffic to a different location for selected new locations. Is there a way to effect this without getting the provider to change their routing?

I'll provide a simple example to be clear: Site A is the head end. Sites B and C send all of their Internet traffic across an ISP managed BGP backbone to Site A because Site A's CE employs the default orginate command. Site D comes along and now it is desired to send Site D's Internet traffic to Site B and leave all else the same.

How can this be accomplished--can default originate be selective on a per site basis?

Thanks.

the provider needs to be envolved on that, unless if it is temporary you can create a GRE tunnel for that purpose.
