BGP Loopback with MLPPP?

We are a multihomed site currently using a fractional DS3 with BGP routing. We are getting ready to move to individual T1's using MLPPP and BGP routing. Should we configure a loopback interface or use the multilink interface as a BGP peer?

Re: BGP Loopback with MLPPP?

Hi,

There is perfectly no problem with using the multilink interface for EBGP peering (I presume you are talking about EBGP here). If you are using IBGP, I would recommend peering to loopbacks...

So go ahead and do so...

Hope that helps - pls rate the post if it does.

Paresh.
