Hi,
1.This is any router on our network using BGP and OSPF
2.We have some core routers that redistribute BGP into OSPF, when the BGP routes are advertised in OSPF they have a metric of 1. What is a way we can change that metric from 1 to an actual metric the router can really use?
3.There is no particular device or router.
4.Diagram is attached in a Visio

Khan

Hi, can you save your attachment in JPEG and re-attach it so that everyone can see it?

have you tried without the "subnets" in the redistribute line for bgp?
Else you can try putting some metrics

Hi
You can either
1) under your ospf configuration set a default-metric ie.
router ospf 10
default-metric "x"
or
2) you can apply the metric to the redistribute line ie.
redistribute bgp "as" subnets metric "x"
