BGPv4 Jumbo Frames

Hi All,

I'm looking to hook into a WAN that uses BGP Jumbo Frames (9000 byte) and need a router to do this. I would have normally selected a 2811 (supporting voice as well) but now I'm not sure if the 2811 will support the Jumbo frames. I've checked the WWW but can't find anything definitive. Can anyone tell me if it does or doesn't or where I might find this information or tell me what a suitable L3 device I should use.

Many thanks

John

According to the following URL, it appears that the GigE port on the 2821 and 2851 does support jumbo frames up to 9000 but I'm not sure about the FE port on the 2811.

What is the purpose of you configuring jumbo frames for BGP, if I may ask?

Hope this helps,
