Hi Team,

I am facing a problem i.e. my requirement is to bind the 2 IP addresses (i.e.10.15.173.10 & 10.15.173.11 w.r.t. their Mac -Address) moreover, both IP addresses belong to the one server and also it not comes under the excluding range. But the problem is that both 2 IP addresses have been already assigned automatically in the N/W by the DHCP server configured by our L3 device. Once I was binding these IP addresses w.r.t. their Mac-address it showing me this “IP addresses has already assigned” in the N/W.Please tell me the how can I bind both IP addresses w.r.t. their Mac-address statically.

What is that "L3 device", and what device tells you "IP address already configured" ?

The L3 device is Cisco-4506.We have configured this L3 devices as a DHCP server for the N/W.

You cannot have two dhcp server bindings for the same mac. What you can do, bind the second IP to a mac address of fantasy, dhcp server will never assign it, but the server can use it anyway and it will work.

Hope this helps, please rate post if it does!
