Buffer Misses

Hi everyone,

I have since I upgraded my IOS on Cisco 2811 routers from 12.3 (8) to 12.4 (5), when i check buffer misses on router and on NMS (Solarwinds), medium buffer misses have increased alot since I have upgraded IOS. What could be the cause and secondly all the routers meet the IOS mem and flash requirements.
