I have a Cat6509 with a MFSC2 running c6msfc2-jk2o3sv-mz.121-26.E1.bin and it has a bootldr image c6msfc2-boot-mz.121-26.E1.bin.
I want to upgrade this IOS to support QoS on MLPPP links. I have found an image that will work with the current size of my bootflash (32Meg), c6msfc2-ipservicesk9_wan-mz.122-18.SXF15.bin
My Question is, do I need to bootldr image that matches this new image? I have not been able to find a bootldr image to 'match' this IOS image. I had thought that I read somewhere that with 12.2 you do not need a boot Image, just the IOS image.
