C6509 sup720 boot up error

hello,

can anyone tell me the meaning of this error or a link where I might find information about it?

I lost power to this box due to a power outage:

unknown reload cause - suspect boot_data[BOOT_COUNT] 0x0, BOOT_COUNT 0, BOOTDATA 19 (SP by power-on)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

thx.

Jesse

Re: C6509 sup720 boot up error

Waht image are you running on the Sup720? This is a bug. Bug id is included below. Release notes is alos included below.

You can read the same Release Notes I included below by looking at the bug itself from this link:

http://www.cisco.com/kobayashi/support/tac/tools.shtml

Search for "bugtool kit" hyperlink and click it. Enter the bug id I ID below in the ensuing window.

Maybe this bug:CSCee45650

Problem description :

---------------------

A sup720-3BXL running s72033-pk9sv-mz.122-17d.SXB may show the following when executing the command "show version" :

System returned to ROM by unknown reload cause - suspect boot_data[BOOT_COUNT] 0x0, BOOT_COUNT 0, BOOTDATA 19 (SP by power-on)

Impact :

--------

There is no impact on normal operation of the switch.

Workaround :

-----------

There is currently no known workaround.

I am pretty sure this is it, since you said it was a power outage, so the reload reason is not correct.
