C7206 VXR with NPE300

Hi Guys,

I'm upgrading this chassis with a NPE400. I have read some documents which state a upgrade of the bootflash is required when I insert this new card.

Am I right in assuming just installing the NPE card wont effect the config or IOS but may require a bootflash upgrade?

My current bootflash version is

BOOTLDR: 7200 Software (C7200-BOOT-M), Version 12.0(10)S, EARLY DEPLOYMENT RELEASE SOFTWARE (fc1)

Thanks guys! We hope this is just a case of powering down, putting the new NPE in and powering back up again!

Thanks!

Re: C7206 VXR with NPE300

Hi,

I'm not really sure how that helps me? Can someone tell me where I can download the bootloader files to update the IO card?

Thanks
