I switched out my modem and since the new one was installed I can only reach the internet if I don't use my 871W. Computer direct to modem works fine but if the 871W is connected to the modem I get sent to Comcast's Activation site and can do nothing else. It seems the router is caching the page or redirecting me to the page for no reason at all. Since the computer direct to modem connection works fine, Comcast says it is a router issue.
The router picks up DHCP on its WAN port and I can ping IP addresses from the router but DNS doesn't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jason,
post a filtered version of the configuration of your router:
remove public ip addresses and username/pwds
use a text file and the attach option.
Hope to help

Nevermind, I figured it out. I was using Comcast's DNS servers and they were steering me wrong. Once I stopped using them, I had no issues.
