Cannot ping Serial interfaces T1 card

Hi,

Cannot ping serial interfaces. Cable type is T1 crossover.

You are seeing CRC errors for almost every frame.

I think you will need to set ONE end as

Hi,

Are these routers connected back to back?

I see a lot of CRC errors on the R1 serial interface, although the serial interface up. Did you try clearing the interfaces? What happens if you change the encapsulation on the interface to say PPP, does it make any difference.

Try changing the cable as well.

In addition to the possibility that there is a clocking issue I believe that there is another problem with this configuration. The interfaces are configured to use the default encapsulation of HDLC and use subinterfaces. But to my knowlede HDLC does not support subinterfaces. I would be very interested in seeing the output of show ip route from either (or both) of the routers. I suspect that the router does not have the IP address as a connected subnet.
