Catalyst 1900 question

I'm studying for my CCNA. The WestNetLearning study materials I have indicate that I should be using a CLI to establish the ip & default gateway, but my Catalyst 1900 goes straght to a menu (instead of the cli I was expecting). Even my router simulation software places me into a menu w/o the ability to get to the CLI. What have I missed?

Hi,

The Cat1900 allows you to access the CLI from the menu. Simply hit "K" and you will be taken to the CLI.

When it starts up, say no to entering set up mode and then you can go to CLI from there.
