A V4 candidate could use a hardware rack with a definitive numbers of RTRS & Switches to study - is this the case in V5
My current rack of routers and switches (9x2811 & 4 x 3750G) are capable to support the new IOS and indeed are presently doing so but the below statement to me is a bit vague - I have seen posts that state VIRL/|GNS3 etc is the only way to go now as the new lab is mostly virtual anyway with numerous rtrs and switches in the topology's. - INE for example)
Candidates who want to prepare using hardware based labs can use the following equipment and Cisco IOS Software
• Cisco ISR 2900 Series routers running IOS version 15.3T Universal Software release
• Catalyst 3560X Series switches running IOS version 15.0SE Universal (IP Services) Software release
Any other hardware platform that can run equivalent Cisco IOS Software version 15 may be used as well.
