I have a software which should switch automatclly from primary comms (ADSL) to backup comm (Dial up).
Both connection are off the 3560 multilayer switch and the routing is happen here as well. When I change manually everything is OK.
I would like to automate this on the router. This is the example:
The sofware is trying to communicate with a device using primary comms(ADSL) but if this connection is down I would like that device IP (only) to be translated in to the secondary device's IP which is in another subnet such as the software can talk with the seondary device.
The primary and backup devices are on the same location connected to a router 1800 with 2 connections one for ADSL and one to dial up.
Hi everyone, I would like to thank you in advance for any help you can provide a newcomer like myself!
